Planning an apparel order
CSL manufactures custom sportswear, corporate and leisure apparel, knitwear and performance socks in the Philippines, with worldwide export as its primary market. Philippine buyers are also welcome. Share the destination, intended wearer, garment specification, quantity and required arrival date when requesting a quote.
Philippine export procedures
Philippine Bureau of Customs guidance sets out exporter registration and export declaration procedures. Export documentation and any permits depend on the shipment, commodity and relevant authority. Free-zone exporters have applicable arrangements with their zone authority. CSL and the appointed logistics parties must confirm the documents and responsibilities for each transaction. This page does not assert that CSL holds any particular accreditation.
Origin and preferential duty
Manufacture in Clark Freeport does not automatically make an order duty-free at destination. Preferential treatment depends on the destination scheme, tariff classification, qualifying origin rules and acceptable evidence. Imported fabric and production processes can affect eligibility. Confirm whether a certificate or statement of origin is appropriate before quoting a landed cost.
Freight, import charges and delivery terms
Agree the shipping method, named delivery point, importer of record, customs clearance responsibilities, insurance, duties, taxes and any applicable Incoterms rule and version in the written quotation. Production completion is not the same as arrival. Customs inspections, carrier schedules and border processes may affect timing.
Labelling, product rules and claims
Destination and product-specific requirements may cover fibre composition, care instructions, origin marking, language, chemical restrictions and safety. Tell CSL if the garments are for children, regulated protective use, or a specialist programme. Performance, recycled-content or certification claims need supporting evidence for the actual material and product; website descriptions are not certificates. The buyer and CSL should establish the compliance specification and testing responsibilities before production.
Specifications, changes and repeat orders
Approve the relevant artwork, samples, size breakdown, materials, colour references, packaging and agreed tolerances in writing. Changes to an approved order, urgent requests and repeat orders with different quantities or designs need fresh review and written confirmation of cost and timing. Cancellation, defect remedies and payment arrangements are governed by the accepted quotation or contract and applicable law, rather than an unconfirmed website request.
Sources and project confirmation
This page provides general planning information reviewed on 24 October 2026. Rules change and requirements differ by destination. Use official customs and trade sources, including the Philippine National Trade Repository, and confirm shipment-specific requirements with the responsible customs broker or authority. No blanket tax, incentive or delivery entitlement is represented.
